  18. Hello everyone.  Sorry if this is a little off topic, but our local
  19. LightWave group (Video Toaster Anmation & Graphics) is sponsoring a
  20. video exhibition and I'd LOVE to see it dominated by cool LightWave
  21. animations.  Animations created with other software are welcome and
  22. even video projects (last year Rhythm & Hues sent some AMAZING
  23. animation!).  Here's the unoffical press release.  Email me with any
  24. questions.  I haven't ventured into the world of ftp etc. so if
  25. some internet savvy person could distribute this information I would
  26. be forever grateful.  THANKS!

  31. For the second time, Video Toaster Animation & Graphics (V-TAG) and
  32. the West Virginia State College Communications Department will sponsor
  33. a video exhibition at the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta.
  34.  
  35. This exhibition, held September 1 and 2 from 6 to 9 PM nightly at the
  36. West Virginia State College Capitol Center, 123 Summers Street, will
  37. showcase video productions from amateurs, area producers and
  38. nationally known professionals.  The exhibition will include video
  39. animation, music videos, and short video features.  Admission is free
  40. to the public.

  42. The Charleston Sternwheel Regatta is the largest Sternwheel river event east
  43. of the Mississippi River.  Over 400 thousand people come to the river to
  44. enjoy the regatta.  The event includes a variety of river events, as well
  45. as, nightly entertainment, exhibits, and food.

  47. Cosponsor for the video exhibition is Video Toaster Animation & Graphics -
  48. an association of professionals, educators, and hobbyist using computers
  49. with video production.

  51. Entries for the exhibition will be accepted through August 15th.  Entries
  52. should be no longer than 10 minutes and will be accepted in VHS, S-VHS,
  53. Hi8, and 3/4" videotape formats.  Everyone is invited to enter.
